SCOPE & OBJECTIVES OF THE BOOK

Over the last ten years, there has been a significant change in the industrial sector. Environmental awareness is becoming a major concern for almost every industry worldwide, rather than just a passing fad.

These days, the environment is a major worldwide concern. The environment is protected using a variety of strategies and technologies. The application of knowledge to real-world circumstances is called technology. A vast array of technological features that contribute to the formulation of sustainable development plans and the mitigation of human impact on the environment are referred to as eco-friendly and sustainable technologies. An essential part of contemporary industrial operations is eco-friendly and sustainable production, which calls for eco-friendly and sustainable methods.

An interdisciplinary approach, eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing aims to reduce environmental impacts while preserving energy and resources. Here are some instances of how research, production, materials, supply chains, and technology may all benefit from the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable manufacturing. Employees can also benefit from it through empowerment and education. Successful eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing techniques reduce environmental harm while also boosting business productivity and competitiveness.

The manufacturing sector has recently placed a high premium on conserving and improving the usage of vital resources including water, energy, and others. Businesses are substituting modern production methods that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, yield better products, and are safe for the environment for outdated ones in order to remain competitive. Sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing has become a key objective for doing this.

A thorough summary of earlier studies in environmentally friendly and sustainable manufacturing and material processing technology may be found in Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Manufacturing and Materials Processing Methods: Characterizations, Applications, and Design. It looks at new research and development in this area as well as the properties, uses, and design elements of materials produced with sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing techniques.

This book, which focuses on sustainability, highlights new developments and compares cutting-edge sustainable manufacturing and materials processing processes with currently employed conventional approaches. The book highlights advancements in a number of manufacturing techniques.

This book will provide first-hand information to commercial enterprises and academic researchers, will offer readers a unique opportunity to comprehend and evaluate the most recent advancements in the interdisciplinary domains of sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing and material processing technologies. Also, the book will be the go-to reference for anyone interested in conducting research or development in the areas of recent developments, material processing technologies, and sustainable eco-friendly manufacturing.
